So…how’s everyone been?

I haven’t made any sort of updates in a while, so I think I’m due.  So, what’s been going on in the world of Mr. Joseph?  Let’s see…

For starters, due to the fact that my wife is unable to keep a secret for longer than 30 seconds, I found out I’m having a baby girl.  Her expected due date is March 27th, but everyone knows these things change.  I’m looking forward to seeing and holding my baby girl for the first time and welcoming her to the world.  It’s funny, but I never thought I could love something so fiercely.  It’s nice to see how life changes a person.

I also have a new job that is incredibly fulfilling for me.  I work as a Computer Technology Specialist for a nonprofit organization, and I’m loving every second of it.  I’m responsible for IT support for a five county radius, and it requires me to go from site to site to ensure that everyone is up and working properly.  If they aren’t, then it’s my job to get them there.  It’s a whole lot of fun, and I get to see places in this state that I never thought I would.

I did the voting thing, and I’d be lying if I said I was thrilled with the results.  To be honest, I probably wouldn’t have been thrilled with the results either way it went.  As George Carlin called it, “Garbage in, garbage out.”  Until there is some new blood in office that’s not completely psychotic, then things will never improve.  Of course, there are people who are happy the way things are, and nothing I can say will change their perspective.  It is what it is.

So, there it is in a nutshell.  It’s not a long blog, but it’s concise.  I’ll try to write more, because I do miss it, but only time will tell when I get the opportunity to do so again.

Congratulations on your baby girl! And consider yourself blessed, not many people in this day and age actually enjoy what they do.
